What do I do if I have an exhibit or an attachment that I need to file with my main EDGAR report?

Solutions

Depending on what the extra attachment is, there are a few different ways to do this:

  1. If you have an exhibit in Word format, you can simply add it as a regular document with the "Optimized for MS Word" option. During the File-To-SEC entry properties step, you simply state what the document is.
  2. If it is an XBRL attachment or .FIL attachment, you can simply click Add Documents and choose the "Add as an attachment" for filing purpose. In the entry properties step in the File-To-SEC Module you will choose the appropriate entry property for the XBRL
  3. If you have an attachment that is already in EDGAR HTML, you can simply select "Add Document" and choose the "Add an Edgarized HTML" as the output. When you are on the File-To-SEC Module, perform the same steps and select the correct entry property for the EDGAR HTML attachment file.

SEC Publisher is so user-friendly, I was preparing filings on the first day I received it.  It was very easy to learn and when I did have a question, the customer service response was timely and easy to understand.  Thanks!
