How do I create EDGARized HTML from a word document using SmartXBRL?

First, you will need to upload a Word document to the service. After you have a Word document open in your file tree, just click on the name of the document to open it.

Then click “Create Edgarized HTML” in the bottom-left menu.

This will open a new window listing every word document in the filing you chose earlier. Select the document(s) you want to convert, and then press “Create.” You will now be able to download your EDGARized HTML document(s) from the service.
